India Forex - Rupee opens low by 7 paise to 45.43 per USD on Thursday 11 March 2010

India Thursday 11 March 2010 : The rupee slipped by seven paise to 45.43 per USD in the opening trade today against its previous close of 45.37 on sustained buying support from bankers and others, traders at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) said here.
It had surged by huge margin of 25 paise to 45.37 per USD yesterday.
The domestic unit recorded a norrow movement with the intra day’s high and low at 45.45 and 45.39 per US Dollar.
The rupee depreciated by 7 paise against the dollar following fresh capital outflows by foreign funds amid the US currency’s gains.
Dollars gain against other currencies weighed on the Rupee sentiment, he added.
